We received a schedule change today for our flights in April (very busy peak time). We booked through Orbitz & are flying on United.
This was about the 4th schedule change, none of them being too drastic, however, this one was leaving Orlando more than 90 minutes earlier than our regular flights.
I called Orbitz & they said they would have to put it through United & I would probably get a call back Monday morning. Well, I figured I would call United to see if they could do anything.
The woman on the phone was extremely nice when I explained our situation. She immediately spoke with a manager. They were able to change our flights. We are leaving about 2 hours later than originally planned & will have a longer layover, but we decided that would be better than the change they originally made.
I just had to say how nice United was about the whole thing. We have gotten schedule changes before through USAirways & Delta & when we called about them got no customer service whatsoever. They were always nasty and rude on the phone as if we were bothering them (hello - you changed my flight).
Anyway, I would definitely book through United again just because of the great customer service I just received.
