We typically fly JetBlue but for our big family trip this year (16 of us heading down) we got a better deal from Delta (first class out of Boston for $450 round trip for the seniors in the group!). With all the negativity out there I wanted to give a shout out to Delta. One of the groups going is my BIL, his 2 kids and his long time girlfriend. As luck would have it, their relationship broke up. My FIL had bought their plane tickets and they were nonrefundable. I called Delta asking if he could at least get a partial refund. The agent asked if this was due to death or illness - being honest I said no. She DID notice though that the flight time for them had been changed. (They were originally scheduled for 11:00 departure but that flight was cancelled back in JANUARY and they were moved to the 7:30 flight.) She gave my FIL a full discount as "The time change was greater than 90 minutes and not convenient to the passenger so a full refund was granted." Maybe this is standard procedure but I was so grateful for her.
