KTV add-on : here's hoping

I'm about ready to freak out, we will have 2 heading to college next fall, a freshman and my oldest will be transferring from the community college. Here's my problem, I've been waiting and saving in order to add-on at the new KTV. Now I'm not sure if we will be able to swing an add-on. But am still hoping.

now don't know about discounts - but DVC has always given current members a better deal than new members. So maybe.

Boy can I feel your pain. Our oldest is in college - my husband is in grad school - I am taking a photography course and in another 3 years just in time for our oldest to get out of college and DH to go for his doctorate - our youngest starts college.

It will be over - someday- right?

Well, you might have some time to save for an add-on, I'm hoping points won't go on sale until fall at the earliest. I'm saving and selling on Ebay so I can buy, buy, buy. Ok, maybe not buy, buy, buy - but I can dream can't I?

After checking out the preview point charts, I've decided it's time to go to the grocery store. I'm buying lemonade stuff and putting the kids outside to sell lemonade and cookies... Nevermind that it's 20 degrees and we have 6 inches, people always buy lemonade from kids on the street corners right?

Great idea! I may have to borrow that one! At least we won't be in competition for customers! My hope is that they won't start selling until next year, like right after I get my tax return back!! Well, if not, then I'll use it to pay off a big chuck next year! Does buying DVC count as "stimulating the economy"?? After all..... I am buying something made in USA!!

Looking at this reasonably, SSR is not expected to sell out before September this year. AKV will continue selling into 2010. KTR only has half a shell building built. They need another 3-6 months to finish the nuts and bolts of the building before they can begin the finishing off work. Then you've got another 6-12 months of building interior structures, installing fixtures, painting, decorating and moving in furniture.

Disney may announce ahead of opening but they don't usually sell that far in advance. Otherwise they can't close or risk overloading the system with developer points.

Given that, I expect we'll probably get an official announcement later this spring, but the details (point charts and prices) won't hit the scene until Christmas time. Sales most likely won't begin until early next year.
