KTTWC and DDP

I have a question...

Since we are having almost 5 full days at the parks, we're going to have some meals that we cannot use the DDP for (gotta eat!). We are planning to pay OOP for Beaches N Cream our second to our last TS meal.

Now, we will probably use our KTTWC for purchases for meals, snacks etc that are not on the DDP. Do we tell them NOT use use a credit, or does it automatically charge us? Say, we pick up some souvie snacks at WoD like Chip n Dale pretzels for my uncle, if we use our KTTWC to purchase that, will it automatically take a snack credit away?

This is our first time to use the DDP, and we don't want to use up all our TS credits and show up at Kona Cafe and have to pay OOP for THAT! We plan on splitting meals at BnC, so it will be cheaper for us.

Anyone know?

You can tell the server to use the charge and not credits; however, you need to check the receipt to ensure they didn't make a mistake. Personally, I don't like chancing the mistake (and the time it takes to correct). I just carried an extra charge card for non-plan purchases.

We always told them when ordering or putting the stuff on the counter to yes take a snack credit or no we want to charge it. Usually the CM would ask before I could even get it out. Never had a problem!

Ok, good. Sometimes we like to buy those goodies as souvies!

I'm really more worried about on meals we don't want to use the DDP for.

Any experiences?
