I'm 14 and my parents have decided to let me have charging privlages on my KTTW card this year. I never really lose things so their not too worried about me losing but my dad is senting a limit on it just in case and he's going to make sure the number to "cancle" the card is in his phone. MY parents aren't concerned about me over spending because I'm good with money.

BUT, I'm getting alittle nervous about carrying a charge card. I know that its better then money and I want to carry it but I'm still nervous.:confused3 So I was wondering one thing

1) When you use the KTTW card does the cashier ask you your room number? I've had this at otehr resorts and its a good security feature.

Also, does anyone have any opinions on whether they'd have their 14 year old have a charging KTTW or have them carry money.

The only time I've been asked a room number is when I've had my package delivered to the resort.

I don't think you even have to sign the charge slip unless the purchase is over $25.

I think carrying the card instead of cash is a better idea. I frequently find cash on the ground but I've never found a room key or charge card. If you discover you've lost your KTTW you can go to Guest Relations and have it 'cancelled'. Not so with lost cash.

Getting a Disney gift card is another idea. You can purchase them from a Disney Store or online. That way there would be a set amount on it. But like cash, if it gets lost, it's gone.

You sound like a responsible girl. I think you'll be fine charging on your KTTW. Just remember your parent's are trusting you...don't abuse that trust!

Thanks for the responsible comment :) . I'm starting to feel better about it now because you can cancle it at anytime and set a limit on it so incase it gets lost no one can spend a lot of moeny on it.

I have given my DS (14 the first time) and DD 11 charging on their KTTW card. They new they had a limit and they saved their reciepts so they could keep track since they put their money on that room. My DS lost his KTTW card and it was really easy to replace and they cancelled the old one and told us to review the charges and make sure that they were all ours. I think you'll do fine. If your concerned over this it shows that you are responsible to understand the importance of it.

If 2 people are in the room, can each have her/his own credit card linked to her/his own KTTW card? Or can only 1 credit card (debit card, whatever) be linked to both KTTW?

Thanks!

only 1 card per room on KTTW cards. What I've done is put my CCon room key and BFF has gone down to Front desk every few days and had her charges ran on her CC.
