OK so, I'm WAY behind in planning-we decided to do WDW in Sept instead of Jan...
SO, is KTTW worth it? How about Circ Du Sol? Is it worth the money for the the seats? When should I make ressies-or should I get on this right away?
Thanks!
Guru

I have been to Cirque twice, my family just loves it!! The cost of the tickets is forgoten about five minutes after the show starts. As my teenage daughter said "Everything that they do is clap worthy, my hands are numb"

Spend the money!

Cirque is really quite amazing. If it is in your budget I would highly recommend it. It was one of our favorite things that we have ever done at Disney. It is great for kids and adults.

Good Luck planning!

I've been to other Cirque shows, and they all leave me speechless. My daughter and I will be going in August to the show in DTD.

You can buy these tickets online (and also know ahead of time where you are sitting). If you want to wait, I'd go online and check the availability...

where do I go online? if I can get tickets online that would be great!
Thanks...
Anyone know about KTTW tours?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with KTTW tours?

I've heard that used as an abbreviation for the Key to the World card, which is your room key/resort id.

Are you thinking of the Keys to the Kingdom tour, perhaps? That's a half-day, behind the scenes tour of the Magic Kingdom.

Cirque is worth every penny to our family. We love all their shows... I would never hesitate to see a Cirque show.

You can get cirque tickets online at Cirquedusoleil.com or you can call Disney reservation center at 407-934-7600 (that is the main number for booking resorts, when you get a live person tell them you want Cirque tickets and they can book that for you as well.

I also think you are asking about the Key to The Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom... Not KTTW which stands for Key To The World which is the resort ID card that is issued to all resort guests when they check in :)

You can get Cirque tickets in person at the Cirque Box Office, online or through DRC as listed in the last post. Online or through DRC you do not get to choose your seats. You tell them a section, and the computer automatically picks what it feels to be the "best availible" within your selection.

If you show up at the Box Office, you "may" be able to select your exact seats. The Box Office CM can go through and tell you where he/she can put you. However, depending on when you plan on going - you may be better off ordering through DRC/online if it is during the busy season, or you have a large group. You can book them up to 6 months in advance.

OP: I think you mean KTTK (K for Kingdom) and the (W is for World)...

The official name of the Tour is Keys to the Kingdom and it is fabulous :thumbsup2 !!!
Dh & I did this tour in Feb and it was wonderful. So much info. The guides are very knowledgeable. The tour was 9-2pm which included lunch at the Columbia Harbour House :thumbsup2 !!!

And as far as Cirque goes....Ahhhhhhhhh....an absolute MUST SEE :thumbsup2 !! My family has seen La Nouba maybe FIVE times and find it absolutely riveting. Worth every single penny you pay for the show!!! Every seat is great although we like to be in the FRONT/CENTER section!! :thumbsup2

Both KTTK and Cirque are MUST SEES and MUST DOS at WDW.

p.s. OP: your room key and admission to the Parks is called a KTTW card!!
Keys to the World! :sunny:

Thank you!
I 'm sorry-I got all of my abbreviations confused!

Loved both La Nouba and KTTK ::yes::
You can't go wrong with either.
I have seen 6 different Cirque shows and La Nouba is still one of my favorites.

Book now ;)
I always book everything as soon as I can....love planning :hyper:

OH...how far inadvance should I book these two things?

I would go on Cirque's website! Enter the date(s) you are interested and search for the BEST seats possible for your family and BINGO..buy them right then and there!!! :thumbsup2

For KTTK: Call 1-407-WDW-TOURS and give the CM your date(s) and have them check availability. Book it as well. When I booked in Feb., I was told by the CM if I use a DISNEY VISA I would get 20% off...WOW and I did!!! :thumbsup2

OP: Never too soon to look for good seats or check availability on shows or tours!!!
Good Luck, OP!

ok so where are the best seats...where do you sit? what has the best view?

Seriously, there really isn't a BAD seat in the place....BUT we always have sat down on the FLOOR and always tried for the CENTER section. One time we were in the VERY FIRST ROW but over to the right abit...STILL AWESOME and another time we were in the FIRST MEZZ (if they even call it that) and the first row of the mezz section...I am telling you, you will NOT be disappointed. They have the seating plan on their website and you can pretty much judge from that while noting the stage area where the better seats are...also, I think the more $$$$ you spend the better the seat!!!!

Both are *FANTASTIC* experiences. You can't go wrong with any seat in Cirque or any KTTK tour. :)

thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!!
Now I just have to figure out the $$$ situation for both...I know I have the money for it...but have to figure out how it is going to all work out in the end...I hate having to wait for a paycheck! Some day I will be independently wealthy
