KTTW cards

Do kids get these too? Is there one for each member of your party? My youngest is 4, but it would proably be good for my 7 yo? or maybe not.. What if they get lost, etc.

Everyone over the age of 2 is issued a card. It is your resort ID card and will also have Park tickets on it (if you are doing land/sea). You can have room keys placed on all of them (which is usually a good idea because a lot of people end up locking themselves out thinking they have a key and finding out later it was the child card without a key (the room # and hotel name are not on the key so it is safe) you can also use them to charge back to your room account (again you can designated which cards have the ability to charge).

If you lose them no problem, just let the front desk know which one you lost and they can replace it for you.

How do we make all KTTW cards room keys? I didn't realize kids KTTW didn't open your stateroom doors.

Your KTTW card will open your stateroom door as soon as you get it. I think LibertyBelle is referring to the Park Resorts and making your KTTW card opend those doors as well if you were doing a land/sea combination.

all our kttw cards our cruise (cruise only) unlocked the door. You had to have everyones card to get on and off the ship.

We did have charging priveleges turned off! Disney does not place spending limits on the kids cards, and they can charge, charge, charge! We turned our kids charging privelages off the first day, but the card still worked great as the room key. In fact, a hole is punched when the charging is turned off.

a hole can be punched even if the account is not turned off, we did that with our daughter so she could put it on her lanyard in a more dependable fashion.

Do you have to bring your own hole puncher to be able to pull the lanyard through it or do they do it for you when they hand it to you?
