KTTW card and Disney gift card?

I know that when you check in, you can have a credit card linked to your KTTW card for charging privileges. Is it possible to link the KTTW card to a Disney gift card instead of to a credit card? I have been loading up a gift card for spending money, and it would be so much more convenient to have everything on one card.

Has anyone tried this?

There was a post about this on the budget board - in short, the resort front desks are one of the few places that are not able to accept the gift cards at this time. To be sure, you could call the number on the card to ask.
