I have a question for those who have done the KTTK Tour. I booked ours for 6/21 (fathers day) at 8:30 a few months ago. I received a confirmation number and it was billed to my Visa card, but this is the only confirmation that I have on the tour. It does not show up under reservations or anywhere on MDE. Does Disney send any other verification prior to our trip or is that all we will have is the confirmation number?

Also planning to do my first-ever KTTK tour later this year. Got a few questions:

1) Is there any way to add the tour to MDE? The CM I booked with on the phone wasn't completely clear about that, but I did take down a confirmation number.
2) I booked a 9:00 tour on a day when the park opens at 9:00. I know about getting there ahead of time and getting let in early, but here's the dilemma. I have a family member who wants to see the welcome show. I know we have to be at the Chamber of Commerce building to check in at least 15 minutes early -- before the welcome show starts. It's so close to the entryway that I wonder if it's possible to check in well in advance and then watch the show, then head back to start the tour right at 9:00. To answer the obvious follow-up, the 9:30 tour was not available on our date.
3) Where in the park does the tour let out?

Ours back in March never showed up in MDE; I didn't ask about it, I just assumed it wouldn't. I had written down my conf. # so that's all I had. Didn't need it at check-in but of course it's always good to have with you!
Great Zo, I guess you could walk back out to see the welcome show as long as you're checked in....I'd only do it if someone in your party stayed with the tour and could text/call those watching the show if the tour started before they were back. I only have the one experience to go by so others may add to this. Idk how early they actually start "checking" you in. Our tour was 8:30; we got there at 8:15 and they were checking us in, they had us pick our lunch, gave us our ear pieces, and told us some quick info. so we were there about 5 mins. Then they told us to wait outside with the rest of the group. Our tour started at 8:58 lol but I'm sure others sometimes run a minute or a few behind. The guide does have to explain some things before you start moving but you kind of should hear all that.....how to use earpiece, some "rules", etc.
