KS near closing- too dark?

We're close to leaving and I have a question- has anyone been on Kilimanjaro Safari near closing Nov-Jan? Can you see anything near sunset, or is it too late to really get anything out of the ride? Going to pack- will check back later tonight.

Currently, due to early sunsets, the Kilimanjaro Safari ride has their last safari departing at 4:00, sometimes 4:30 pm, even though AK park is open later

PandyPaws- is this posted on the parks guide when you enter the park?

They have huge signs sitting out in from the KS telling you the closing times. Today it was 4:30.

Thinking are the animals more active this time of the day or are they getting ready to sleep for the night (I know they are returned backstage every night)
