Has the program changed to only allow a $0.10 discount per fill up? It used to be if I had 3 or 400 points, I could use the 30 or 40 cents off on a single fill up. Last 2 fillups have been 10 cents only.

Has anyone else noticed a change, or is it just the Kroger I am visiting?

It's always been that way here. If I had 300 points, I could get three separate 10-cent discounts. I wish it was all at once too!

I have never been able to use more than one $.10 off at a time. That would be really nice to be able to do that. Maybe your Krogers had it set up wrong and "fixed" their mistake!

I had been going to one station and always got as many as I had 100 points for. Last 2 have been different station. I thought they were off, but I guess the one where I got 30 or 40 cents is broken. :( Too bad! It was a great thing. I always waited until nearly on fumes to go.

Like the other posters, at the ones around here you can only use 1 $0.10 discount per trip.

kroger gas stations - 800 points = 80 cents off

other stations like shell - 800 points = 10 cents off

We still get 10 cents off for every 100 points. Last fill up we got 40 cents off a gallon using the 400 points. Wonder if it's only a regional thing.

We don't have Kroger gas stations here- only the Shell that let u use ur Kroger points and I got $0.70 off per gallon just 3 weeks ago after that 'buy any giftcard at Kroger and get 4x reward points'. I bought a $100 Disney gc and it gave me 400 pts just from that purchase.

So maybe it is regional- we are in the southeast. TN

300 points............Atlanta Metro Kroger

3 fillups of up to (about) 35 gallons. For each one we get 10 cents off.

We bring our truck and car together and on one transaction can usually fit about 25-30 gallons in. So save about 2.50-3.00 by using this method.

EXACTLY! I thought it was always this case. But it isn't. Not sure if different stations follow different rules or if there was a company wide change Jan 1. Last 2 fill ups at Kroger only yielded 10 cents off, even though more reward points were available.

Gas rewards are somewhat popular around here. We have a program from Giant Foods and Shell where you could get10 cents off per 100 points. There is a max number of gallons of gas on the fill up - it is pretty high like maybe 35 gallons, but you can use all your points in multiples of 100. The catch is that points expire each month, I believe, so I never know what I actually have unless I've just recently been to the store. That's me, I just don't pay that much attention and usually fill up at Costco.

The discount has come in handy a couple of times when I was out of my area and looking for cheaper gas - there was a shell and I inserted my Giant card and got 60 cents per gallon off on one occasion and 40 cents off on another. Safeway also runs a gas promo but it only works at their own gas bars. I like this promo - I hope it keeps going.

Definitely varies by region.
My store in Georgetown, KY is .10 per 100 points. If I have 500 points, I get 5-.10 a gallon discounts.
The next store north in Walton, KY redeems all the points at once. If you have 500 points, then you get .50 a gallon off.

Georgetown=midsouth
Walton=Cincinnati.

Kroger has about 8 different regions, the ads vary in all regions, along with gas rewards.

We also take 2 vehicles at a time to maximize the discount.

I just got home from Kroger. My receipt states:

"Every 100 pts earns $0.10 off per gal up to $1 per gal at Kroger OR $0.10 per gal off one fillup at Shell"

I'm in the Metro Detroit area.
