Hi Kristine,
I finally got around to printing out a design tonight on the dark transfer paper you sent me. It printed out fine, I trimmed it...but now I can't seem to peel off the grid lined backing as directed. Even if I finally get it started on a corner, it doesn't peel off in one piece and then I have to try to get it started again. Any suggestions??
Thanks!
Dondra

I am new to this too, but I finally figured out to rip it a bit before I trim it. Rip it enough that you will have a place to grab it, then trim it.
I'm having the problem that the images are running off the sides onto a new sheet and it's wasting a lot of iron on paper.

Thanks!! I was thinking of doing something to it before I trimmed, so thanks for the confirmation on that idea! I'll try again!

When I trim a design out...I leave a small tab. Then when I am ready to peel...I tear the tab and then remove the backing. Take a scissor and the cut off the tab. I hope that makes sense...:)

Just a suggestion, place a regular sheet (or 2 or 3) under the transfer paper when printing. This way any "extra" get printed on ordinary paper and not the more expensive transfer paper. Note: I've done this with photo/stationary papers many times but have never made a t-shirt design so I;m assuming they work similarly.
