Krispy Kremes

Leaving for Disney World in 16 days and DS's need to know where we can find Krispy Kreme donuts on site? :

There seem to be quite a few places but the ones I can confirm(from August) are Donalds Breakfastasaurus and Captain Cooks at the Polynesian.
Have one for me!

Are at Donald's Breakfastasaurus- the BEST breakfast at any park. ((Crystal Palace used to be best- we'll see when it re-opens)

If you don't want a buffet breakfast just to get your Krispy Kremes, they sell them in Tubbi's at the Dolphin.

I have heard that they are at the Wilderness Lodge also. My FH LOVES Krispy Kremes and so I had to know where to get some

Man, you have never had a Krispy Kreme???!!! Apparently they are a huge thing down here in Texas. My FH lives for Krispy Kremes. Personally, I don't see the big deal, but I am a "yankee" to all the people down here and wouldn't understand
I don't know if they have them in the contemporary, but I am sure that you can find them. Just ask someone while you are there.

Nope, never have had one...up MA, they don't exist! It's Dunkin Donuts up here!

I know what you mean. I lived in New York for 14 years and when I came down here people were horrified to hear that I never had a Krispy Kreme. Personally, I like Dunkin' Donughts better, but that's just me. Krispy Kremes are more cakey I guess and their coating is more like icing. It's good, but not Great. Although if I said that to my FH he would exile me until I confessed that Krispy Kremes were the best

They are at the Contemporary at Chef Mickey's. Could be other places there, but thats the only one I have been too!!!

I don't like glazed donuts but LOVE Krispy Kremes. They are available at The Mara at AKL, but they usually run out, so get there early if you want some.

I'm going to try some next month when we're at the Polynesian. Krispy Kreme's have made it to Connecticut, but not up here yet. Never heard of them until I found this board!!!

So glad to hear that we will be able to get our Krispy Kreme "fix" while we are at WDW. We have a Krispy Kreme store right down the street from where we live. When that HOT sign comes on, people line up by the dozens! One Saturday I counted 27 cars in the drive-thru line!

I'm from MA, too. I lived in OH for one year (97) and everyone was amazed we'd never had krispy kremes. In that whole year we never got around to trying them!!! Sounds like we better get one in the World. Dunkin Donuts isn't anything outstanding!!!

For all of you who have never had a Krispy Kreme, you should know that they are at their best when they come straight off of the conveyor line at the stores (you even get a free one if you are there when the HOT sign comes on). Don't get me wrong, I'll still eat a 3-day old Krispy Kreme any time, but you won't get the full experience unless they are fresh and warm.

Thanks for all the replys. We have a new and first Krispy Kreme that just opened in Newington, Connecticut but just try and get in the drive thru or in the store. Cars are lined up for a quarter mile on a Saturday night and they even set up a make shift tent outside for all the people that stand out there. I'll just wait until we get to DW for our fix.

ditto!! Except I'd have to say I'd pass on a 3 day old one. They taste like any old glazed donut by that time, IMO.

Maybe they're big in parts of Texas, but I've never encountered them down here. Only time I had a Krispy Kreme was in an airport kiosk at Dallas Love Airport-and that's almost 500 miles away, so I won't get another soon. And I'm also from MA, so I feel really deprived here-only one in my life so far. When we were at WL in June, I looked at Roaring Forks, but didn't see them.

You can also get Krispy Kremes at the gas station right near the Boardwalk Resort. They are1/2 price towards the end of the day ( for all the cheapskates like me)!
