Krispy Kremes in the parking lot!

With all the hype about Krispy Kreme doughnuts, I am tempted to load the back of my pickup and head to Disney's parking lots to sell. They are common fund raising item here and sell for about$4 a dozen. I read somewhere that someone paid $5 for three at one of the resorts. Whadda ya think? LOL

LOL Can you rig up some kind of heating device to keep them nice and warm and yummy? And as a moderator, do I get a discount? If you can do both, then I think its a great idea! LOL

We could even go halfsies! Whadda ya say? Maybe we should approach Disney about opening a franchise in Downtown Disney! Yummy! Or maybe strike a deal with the resorts. We could leave KK with turndown service-two on your pillow everynight.

Can I join you in your fundraiser? My daughter's cheerleading squad has been selling the Krispy Kreme punch-cards for $10 each. Each time you buy a dozen of doughnuts at their shops($4-5), you get a dozen of the glazed doughnuts free. These things sell faster than the boxes of doughnuts, but only in areas where there is a Krispy Kreme! I am planning to take my card with me to WDW in a week, and for @$10, I will have 4 dozen doughnuts! Now somebody tell me where the nearest KK is, or do I have to pull off the interstate and find one between here and Orlando?

I'm from NC too and I have a punch card!! In fact you can not go to Wal-mart around here on a Saturday morning with out being "hit on" to buy a dozen of the things!!! Yes we love them but getting them is not the problem, avoiding them is!!!

I can't believe no one here is selling the punch cards! Last thing I bought was from a school that sold coupons for the donuts instead of the actual box of donuts so you can pick them up whenever you want. I need that punchcard! Oh, BTW, if they open one in Downtown Disney the donuts will probably be $3 each, so I won't be enjoying them on my vacation.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are the best. We just stopped at the new one here in Grand Rapids, Michigan Friday and they were out of this world. They just opened the store last Tuesday and there must of been 200 people waiting to buy doughnuts on Friday. It is the first KK in west Michigan so it is great to have it here. We live about an hour away so we do notworry about eating them to often.

I grew up on Krispy Kremes, and loved watching them fry away as they floated down their little grease river, complete with the flipper-over part in the middle - then on through the curtain of glazing. Yum! My brother's favorites were the lemon filled.

HOWEVER, we have Yum Yum's, the King of Donuts, here in the far north Philly suburbs, and it surpasses even KK! Every kind of donut is spectacular at Yum Yum'sQ

I purchased a cooler/warmer that plugs into my lighter or in the back seat of my SUV.

SO, who's going into business with me....LOL

I think I could make enough $$$$ during my 15 day vacation at GF............to pay for my 15 day vacation at GF.....

"curtain of glazing" my DS5 calls it a "wall of frosting". Both he and DD2 love watching the doughnuts be made even more so than eating them!
