Finally! Someone who agrees with me :p That's what I've been telling my friends and coworkers but everyone says that its really the KK that heavy! I wouldn't say they're like rocks... more like bagel heavy :) Of course, one of the downsides of the KK being so light... I tend to eat more than I should *lol*

So how were the key lime donuts Janet? :p

They say Chocolate is the next best thing!

Well I say it's the Key Lime Donuts!LOL

They are to die for! Just a word of caution, they are the flavour of the month only!

PS Drawings were released last night for KK LONDON!
But you did not hear it from me!;)

Also, watched one of those Science Shows and they compared Timmies to KK!

Both have the same amount of FAT! But KK has the better one!

Janet, are the key lime ones just for the month of June? If so, I'd better high-tail it over to Kitchener to stock up! :p

Even my cat loves the Key Lime ones!

My cat loves KK Donuts, period!

I think I'll have to make another trip!

Maybe I'll walk to work off those extra calories!

You are just tooooo funny!!

Enjoy your KK's.

Janet I don't think you have anything to worry about in eating KK donuts. Your cat.....maybe! ;) :p

My brother owns shares in Krispy Kreme donuts. He just sent me this note:

Krispy Kreme shares are up $2 today to $40.50 a new 52 week high. That is up 16% in the past couple of months. Reason's given are record store openings in Boston and Australia and success in its new Canadian operations.

I just stumbled across this thread and found it pretty interesting. I live right down the street from the Kitchener location and I can't believe it is still afloat. This place is deader than dixie at the best of times.

I remember a few short months (okay, maybe many months...years?) ago when the only place you could get KK was at the Mississauga location (on Mavis Rd.).

Now, you can get them almost anywhere. Even though they have fewer store locations than Timmies, you can probably get them at more locations than Timmies.

All the Loblaws stores carry them (like they carry Entemanns products) and some of the superstores actually have KK stores in them.

Several gas bars have them now (Petrocanada and Shell near our house).

In downtown Toronto, there are a few sales outlet locations (they don't actually make donuts there) in the underground concourse.

Finally, which organization hasn't tried to push them as part of their fund raising activities?

We used to drive out to Mississauga to buy the things and now they're everywhere you turn. Makes me wonder whether they expanded too quickly. I don't know whether the company that owns the Canadian distribution rights owns all the stores or franchised them out. But, if I was a franchisee, I would be really upset with the numerous places that you can get KK in Toronto now.

he he he...

Take this...

" Moncton, New Brunswick is said to have the highest number of Tim Horton's locations per capita, with over 35 stores serving a metropolitan population of 120,000. "

Moncton RULES!!!!

Now even McDonalds is selling them well offering them. I was getting lunch the other day and the manager was telling me how mony donuts they have NOT sold they have sold about 2 dozen inthe Wharncliffe location since they started selling them. The KK store on Wonderland has about 1 car a night in there compared to the lot full the Timmies has across the street so I am suprised they are still around in London.

Habsfan,

I live near that corner as well and KK does look pretty dead. Perhaps it's the new low-carb diets people are on. It is always a lovely aroma though wafting across the Loblaws parking lot.

I'm not sure when the next one is planned. The last one was a picnic in a city park in early June. Prior to that we were at Tiger Jack's in March I believe and before that in the fall.

When does everyone want to have another one. Lisa and I are both working pretty much stright through from now till the end of OCT.
