they sure do! It's in the food court of the airport. Near the Hyatt lobby...you have to walk on the moving walkway...

Thanks for the info! I'll have to grab a dozen before leaving the airport :)

WOW! What a response to my question - so many excited people!! Over here in the UK we don't have any donut 'chains', at least not in Bristol which is quite a big city. Perhaps we don't need them with Cornish cream teas, scones and jam etc etc, but I still feel that we're missing something big!!
Where can my family get Krispy cremes (HOT and fresh ) in or near WDW? And do I need to make a PS? (LOL) - sounds like it if you lot are there!

Harrods have them!!! There was a huge publicity drive a couple of months ago - somthing like £1 each! (almost $2). We had them in Las Vegas and they are wonderful - much better than Dunkin Donuts.
Do a google search and you will get the main site and then you can get the locations.

Rats! We were in Harrods over Christmas (does that make me sound grand?! Day trip to London, actually!) If only I'd known.....!

They are also planning to open a few other locations in the UK.
You might want to check out their site www.krispykreme.com

Dont make the mistake of buying those that they sell in grocery store it is not the same. Glazed are definitely the best hot & fresh off the conveyer belt. They litterly melt in your mouth they are sooo good. The locations have a Hot & Fresh sign that is lit when a fresh batch is coming out.

My neighbor couldnt understand all the hoopla, then I had her try one and she was hooked.

They also went public a few years ago and the stock has done very well. Forget about investing in Walt Disney get KK instead.

I like Dunkin Doughnuts anytime...even day old...any of the basic doughnutty doughnuts (plain, chocolate, glazed, blueberry...). Krispy Kreme's have to be fresh. They are much heavier than D&D so you can eat just one. The best Krispy Kreme's I ever had were from the store located in the World Trade Center. When I had to work in Manhattan I'd occasionally commute with my best friend and we'd stop in and have a coffee and a Krispy Kreme before I set off down to Pearl St. & he went up to his office in tower 2 (this story has a happy ending...niether one of us worked in Manhattan that day).

I'll always remember the WTC for the mall above the PATH station and the Krispy Kreme's!

I think they are really only "stand above the rest" donuts when they're fresh. If they aren't fresh off the belt, then they taste like all the other donut chains, to me. We just got a KK here, and they had the police out directing traffic in and out of there in the morning. That always happens when one opens =)

They're very very yummy when fresh. When you go inside to order, they always hand you a fresh, hot one for free. =)

I haven't tried their coffee! I should!

Amen Missy28!!!!! This Atlanta born girl loves them!!!!!!!! Could eat a dozen if they are HOT!!!

I grew up eating KK and love them, that being said I've never met a fresh donut I didn't like. I especially like chocolate covered glazed..

fyi there is a krispy kreme on 192 east in kissimmee. if you have a car it's a short drive from most resorts :)

if you microwave a kk glazed for 8 seconds they are almost as good as fresh....almost.

My first KK experience was the BEST. I went to a KK near WDW (on Rt. 192 in Kissimmee) and bought two chocolate cake donuts hot and fresh out of the fryer. They were one of the most wonderful things I'd ever tasted, even better than their classic glazed donuts (which I sampled at our MA store).

I find cold KK donuts not as appealing as the hot ones. Watch out though. When they are hot you could easily down several at a time. At a few hundred calories a pop that adds up quickly.

I grew up on warm Shipley's in Houston which I think taste the same as a warm KK. The outside texture of the donut is different but Shipley's has the exact same sweet, melt-in-your mouth taste to it. So, I wasn't blown away when I had my first KK.

Anyone else familiar with Shipley's agree with me?

Southern Maid had the best kolaches growing up but when I moved to Dallas after 10 years out of state the Southern Maid ham and cheese kolache was the same as Shipley's (I was very disappointed, they used to be round and stuffed to the gills).

That's my $0.02

I agree, Shipley's also serves the glazed up fresh and they too have relatively the same taste. But KK texture makes 'em melt in your mouth. I am always grateful when one of my sons has an early morning practice at the rink in Frisco because there's a KK there. I had one that wasn't hot of the belt and it was still good, but nothing special.

Krispy Kreme is the best there is.....if your lucky enough to get one hot, you will need to order more than 1 person. Seems before you know it, you have eaten 3. Here in Alabama, we have KK all around. And the lastest store which opened 2 yrs ago, it was crazy! People camping out overnight to be one of the first to enter the store. You never get tired of them. My brother is works for KK...he is one of the route managers and all I have to do is say.."Jeff" and we get some. We always take KK to school parties or anywhere we need to take a food item. We even make cakes from the doughnuts....talk about getting comments! The other flavors are good also, KK just came out with 3 new flavors, New York cheesecake, Keylime pie, and Chocolate caramel. Keylime is awesome!

Anyway.....enough babbling......if you get close to a KK....you must get on. At most KK, you can watch the doughnuts being made. Kids always like this.

btw, can you believe people selling a dozen of KK on Ebay...shipped overnight. Of course, their not hot, but are still fresh.

If they are cool, 10 seconds in the microwave and they are back to warm.

I was told (on these boards) that the AWESOME donuts we ate at Trails End in FW are Krispy Kreme. Don't know if there is any truth to that, but the donuts were YUMMY and definately not Dunkin's (YUCK!!)
