Can someone confirm whether you now need adr's for Konas:confused3 ? I know on previous trips we was told you could nt make adrs for Konas, that you d just show up for meals. I ve just read a thread though that mentions adrs's for Konas being made, am panicking now :scared:

we ve already made all of our adrs, we always do but you never use to be able to make them for Konas. This is why im asking to see if theres been a change to that

Kona has taken reservations since it's been in existence. All Disney-owned restaurants take them. It used to be less necessary to make them before the dining plan came along, but you could make them.

When we went in Oct we tried to make adrs for Konas but were told they were nt taking them as it was nt necessary.
We ve just called & got adrs for Konas so am glad i checked

Best of luck to you on your Wedding

Tell me about it :sad2: !!! We always find the reservation people very hit & miss at Disney ( i guess the same as every where else). When we ve been calling over the last few wks re booking adrs. We ve spoken to some super friendly helpful people & a couple who ve decided to make it well known that they just did nt wanna be at work. When we booked the Grand 1 for the night of our wedding, we must of spoken to 4/5 diff people over the course of a month & literally the conflicting info we kept getting told was  . It left us feeling super confused so when we eventually spoke to the lovely lady who booked it for us we was so relieved.
When we visited WDW in Oct for our wedding planning session we booked all of our adrs granted at diff times. I think Kona was the last 1 we attempted to book & that was what we was told:confused3 . We ve also been told conflicting dates of when we can/cant book adrs, talk about confusing :headache:

Oh well at least everythings been booked now, i just wish everyone at Disney was clued up on everything equally. It would make it so much more hassle free for guests :thumbsup2

Thanks for the kind wishes re our wedding, we ve only got 10 weeks before we leave for wdw. Am super nervous :scared:
