Out of Kona's Cafe, Restaurant Marrakesh, or Teppan Edo what would you choose and why?

Already doing 2 restaurants in Epcot and want to choose 1 more but like the Kona menu too! ....decisions...decisions!

How much really would there be to choose from at Teppan Edo with one person in our party being gluten free and another peanut free? Will we get stuck with steamed bland food? Is there rice instead of noodles?

Our family would skip Teppan Edo, because we have many, many similar establishments close to home, so that is an experience we can have any time (your situation may be different).

We were disappointed in Marrakesh the last time we went. The food was bland, but the setting was beautiful and we enjoyed the dancer!

We have had lunch and breakfast at Kona and loved both, and we can't wait to eat dinner there in July! Of your choices, we would choose Kona hands down. If you are going over to the Poly, you can make a whole evening out of the torch-lighting ceremony (Tues-Sat nights at 6PM), dinner, the EWP (9PM nightly), and Wishes from the beach.

Restaurant Marrakesh has great entertainment, but frankly the food there is not as good as the counter service restaurant, Tangerine. Their kids menu choices are also really limited. It is an interesting experience, but not at the top of our list.

Teppan Edo is fun. We have not visited there with food restrictions, but every Disney restaurant has a chef who will ensure you get a safe meal. The food was pretty standard for that type of a restaurant. My kids got a kick out of it, but it wasn't something they talked about when we got home again.

Kona Cafe does not have the entertainment of the last two choices, but the food is lovely. The setting, which is really smack in the lobby of the Poly is not that nice, but we have had some great meals there.

Have you considered eating at O'hana? It is right next door to Kona and the Chef there is pretty famous for doing an AMAZING job of meeting food needs.
Here is a previous thread posted by a vegan. While your dining needs differ, I think the information is still applicable.

In all, any of the places listed will have great food. I would suggest O'hana or Kona first, then Teppan, then Marrakesh.

I would choose Kona, for the menu alone, but if you really want an Epcot restaurant, I'd choose Teppan Edo. Marrakesh is good and the entertainment is fun, but the quality wasn't as good as Teppan Edo. We go to Japanese restaurants like this at home, but it was a way more fun experience there! Our meals were wonderful!

Kona for the best food, Teppan Edo for best overall experience (entertainment/atmosphere + food).

I also have always enjoyed my meals at Kona. Kona is a must do for us every trip.

We love Teppen Edo - good food & fun
Kona- good food.
Since you will be in Epcot for other resturants then I go with Kona .

We tried Marrakesh in Epcot for the first time in Dec 2009 & I LOVED it. I got the Mogador Fish Tagine - marinated fish with olives, lemon confit, potatoes, green peppers, and shermula sauce $27.95 & it was great. My son (age 14)
loved the belly dancer !!!:)

Here is a photo of my plate, it was sooo good !!!

My suggestion is Teppan Edo if you don't have one of those type restaurants at home. The service and food is very good. They did have rice, but not fried rice. It was in a bowl on the side. They also give you a good portion of vegetable.
