Kona's Macadamian Pineapple Pancakes

How are these? Are the nuts and pineapple chopped up and mixed in the batter or just sprinkled on top? Love Tonga Toast and the Eggs Benny but wondering if I am missing out on a wonderful treat

Macademian Nut Pancakes.....OMG My DH & I are huge Tonga Toast fans. But last trip I decided to try the Pancakes sweet nirvana... The pancakes if I remember correctly (sorry it was 4/06 this year we went to DL) were pancakes with pineapple chopped up & syrupy on top and served with macademian nut butter, the butter was addictive. I asked for extra and could have used more I don't remember if the pancakes had nuts baked in them also. Definately try them. Oh boy now I'll be dreaming of the pancakes.

Heaven on a plate!! I am usually a plain pancakes and syrup girl, but these are unreal! There are macadamia nuts in the pancakes, then the nut butter and crushed pineapple on top. One of the best things I have ever tasted and I have only had them twice.

We are not planning on a trip to Kona when we go in 3 weeks, but I may have to change some things around now that I am dreaming of those pancakes again!!

Go to allearsnet.com. Click on the dining section at top. Scroll to the bottom, on the left hand side at the very bottom you will find WDW recipes. I checked and the pancakes recipe is listed there. Enjoy! We are going in Dec. and have ressies for Kona on our last day. Sounds like the pancakes are a sure winner. Gotta try them.
