I will be calling later today to make my January ADR's :cool1: (finally!) and need 1 more dinner TS. We were originally going to do Planet Hollywood, but decided to go elsewhere.

So far we have:

1/6 - Chef Mickey's
1/7 - 50's PT
1/8 - Akershus
1/9 - Coral Reef
1/10 - Kona or WCC

It will be for me, DH, DS6, DD2.

Opinions? Suggestions?

The kids would probably enjoy Wisperibg Canyon - personally I would pick Kona.

Thanks! I booked WCC for now. After looking at both menus and reviews, I kind of figured the same thing :)

I love both but I think the kids would love Whispering Canyon the best. They have wooden ponies and have the kids ride them around the restaurant and then they give them a special surprise after they are done. (a wooden nickel) The cast members are very funny and loud! Make sure you ask for ketchup!

I have been to both Kona & WCC and my family & I  Kona hands down :thumbsup2

I think it depends on what kind of atmosphere you want. I have been to both and love both. WCC is loud and fun with home style cooking. Kona is quieter (still kid friendly though) and more upscale (compared to WCC) menu. I don't think food wise you can go wrong with either one!!!

i think that kona's food far surpassed WCC, but this trip we are doing WCC and skipping Kona. WCC does get quite loud, so keep that in mind when choosing your time (if you choose wcc), the kids may just be over tired and over stimulated by then. kona can be a nice relaxing dinner after a long day in the parks. then a nice stroll around polly followed by a monorail trip or boat ride.

WCC is themed better for kids, but Kona has way better food, IMHO. You do have quite a few themed experiences, so maybe a relaxing dinner at Kona at the end would be nice. I will say that when my kids were younger, they did enjoy the WCC antics; now they ask for Kona (16, 13 and11).

WCC has good food and is fun for the kids. Kona has great food!:thumbsup2
