Kona or Narcossee's

We have a night out on our October trip as the boys are going to Neverland Club
Should we use 1 TS at Kona
Or 2 at Narcoosees but this will make us out of wack with our boys credits so we will pay more oop for other meals
My question is in your experience is Narcoosees so much better then Kona that it is worth it??

In my opinion, Narcoosees is nicer than Kona. But since you're on the dining plan, I would suggest you go to Citricos instead. It's also 2 TS credits and I think it's better than Narcoosees.

Now, I do have to say that breakfast at Kona was awesome. It just didn't jump out as an amazing dinner.

We ended up adding Kona for dinner last minute before our trip. I really didn't think I would like it, but DF really wanted to try it. It ended up being the best meal of the trip! The food is some of the best we have ever had, the drinks are fantastic, the bread is amazing and the service was excellent. We are getting married in WDW, and we are requesting that Kona food be on our reception menu (that is how good it is!!!!)

Kona is very good, but not what I would pick for my night out with my spouse. It's very open and can be loud due to its proximity to the lobby.

I agree with the PP who said pick Citrico's over Narcoossee's, but I haven't been to Citrico's, just going by reviews. I was not that impressed with Narcoossee's myself.

Another thought is The Wave at the Contemporary - we just ate there this summer. Much more of a "date night" atmosphere and the food was very good - I'm not sure if it's one or two TS.

Kona was the one ADR that I REALLY wanted and couldn't get. I still check from time to time, but there is nothing available for dinner. I have an ADR for Narcoosee's, I'm excited to try it, it sounds very good and I love the Grand Floridian!

We ate at Kona and Narcoosee's last month, and neither one was fabulous. We used to LOVE Kona, but the quality of the food has declined over the past couple of years.

We also ate at Citrico's, which was wonderful. Fabulous food and service. I agree that Citrico's is a much better use of 2 TS credits than Narcoosee's. And Kona wouldn't be "special", it would just be dinner.
