Oky, I know these are too TOTALLY different experiences, but....

On our upcoming trip, DH and I would ilike to have a nice dinner (just us) and leave DS at the Neverland Club (which he does LOVE the kids' clubs). We were thinking about going over to the GF, but I was thinkigna about staying at the Poly, doing dinner there and having some time to walk on the beach , possibly hang out in a swing or hammock. We will stay the GF in the future, so no big deal if we don't do that now. As you can tell, I am leaning towards Kona....

I haven't eaten at Narcoosee yet - But, Kona is one of my favorite places to dine at WDW. We always slip in at least a lunch there. I think it's one of the overlooked Gems of Disney Dining.

I would choose the Kona, and a walk on the beach. If you time it right you may even be able to chance the Electric Water Parade

Kona was one of our favorites too - we ate breakfast AND lunch there on our trip.

The main thing to keep in mind is that at Kona you are just off the lobby (which is beautiful with all the plants and running water) so it is not going to be the most romantic of settings and it will be a bit noisy.

Narccoosie's is on the water and in it's own building. We did not eat there but did walk by many times and it looked very nice.

I would recommend Kona too. or if you're open to another suggestion - 'Ohana. it's much more romantic than Kona, which as LSK has pointed out is sort of out in the open just off the lobby.
