Right now have an ADR for Boma but am worried that some of my party will not find something they like. I was there years ago and frankly, can't remember it very well at all. Thinking of changing to Kona. Please help! Thanks!!

I'm sure they'll find something at Boma. There's a section with kid-friendly food like pasta, for example. There's such a variety, it would be hard for people to find nothing they like.

Boma is great! There is a lot of variety, so even those "picky" eaters should be able to find something.

If they have the crab bisque, you have to try it. It is SO good!

Those are tough choices...2 of my favorites...

My mom can barely tolerate salt and pepper....
SHE LOVED BOMA...said she couldnt believe how
food could be so flavorful and not spicy...

Kona Cafe is also awesome....ya cant go wrong either place.

Since Boma is a buffett it is likely that your party will all find something they will enjoy. We ate there once I enjoyed the choices and the food, my DH on the other hand did not, he is a picky eater and just did not like it. So it is not for everyone. We are also a family that is not big buffett lovers.
We tried Kona Cafe for the first time last trip and it was one of our favorite meals of the trip and we will return. Look at the menus for this resturant and see if it is more to your liking than a buffett.

I really think you will be happy at either place.

I vote for Kona. Very good food.

Yes, Boma is a buffet and there is some variety, but only my DS11 really liked the food. The prime rib was good, but the rest of it was not my taste. I'm not that picky either nor is DH. DS8 had some of the kiddie foods. It was crowded and involved lots of time waiting for food I didn't like. We didn't have a good server (and read from others on the board that this particular server is known for this, but that was ONE server). Our family won't return to Boma and I'm not even glad I tried it. Sorry to be such a downer, but am providing my honest opinion. Of course, others LOVE it and it is a must do for them.

I went to both last year with my family. Although they were both good, we all loved Boma's the most! BTW, I am very very picky and I do not eat meat. Good luck.

We are not fussy people, but we hate Boma. It is on our do not return list. We felt food quality was poor for price. Quantity does not equal quality in my opinion. We seem to be the minority, but again just our opinion.

On the other hand, :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Kona is awesome!!!!! Try the crab cakes if you decide on Kona...Yummy!

Definatly Kona!

Boma was just :confused3 to us. It was loud and crowded, even though we went at a non busy time. We thought it was overpriced for what we got. The rolled up bananna and chocolate dessert things were heavenly, though.

Kona was our favorite meal on our last trip! The food was great and the price was great (for Disney)

Never been to Kona, but I'd vote that one. We really didn't care for Boma at all. I was unimpressed with African flavored items that are just western foods like potato salad and coleslaw. It's the one place we ate last year we swore we'd never go back to.

We are a family of 5 and we loved Boma. It was our favorite! Even the kids loved it (and they are picky eaters at times). It is a must do next time. :dance3:

BTW, I'm going to do both Boma and Kona Cafe on my next trip in September (already have my ADRs). :thumbsup2

Don't be so sure- as one of those "picky" eaters, when my wife and I dined at BOMA in 2005, I could not find almost anything I liked. I basically paid $$$ to eat spaghetti- I was pretty disappointed!
