kona or boma on departure day for breakfast

I am staying at the Poly. Planning to leave by 9:30 or so for a 12:25pm flight out. Planning to drop bags in the Poly lobby for southwest airlines check in before going to breakfast.... just as easy to get into the car (will have one) and drive 15 minutes to AKL for Boma or should I just stick with Kona? would an 8:15 Boma work? I figure with no characters to wait for an hour is more than enough time for breakfast.

I am not a huge Kona fan, no mickey waffles for the kiddo and have not loved the sweet stuff I've tried there. I would probably try the samoan this time and make kid "suffer" with a pancake. But Boma just seems like a nice hearty breakfast to kick off a day of travel and there are mickey waffles... and 20% off with AP (to be fair so is Kona! but the a la carte juice and coffee does add up).

I think food-wise I really would prefer boma but not sure if I am downplaying the hassle of going over there in the morning of departure.

I love both. If time is any question, I would choose Kona. Last time I went to Boma with a 9am ressie (granted it was during a free dining period), we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Omelet line was long too. Every time I go to Kona, its practically empty and we are served immediately. Breakfast there is great!

as long as you think you will be and mobile early enough go to Boma! I agree it is one of the best on property. Just a question of will you all be that mobile last morning or would a stay in place ressie work better

I do love Boma most. I cut it for WCC so we could have a reason to go to WL and see the xmas decorations. It would be nice to put it back here.
