I am having a very difficult time choosing between Kona and Boma for our trip next month. It will be me, DH, DD8, and DS4. Our other ADRs are for:

Le Cellier
O'hana
Narcoossee's
Cape May Clambake
Chef Mickey's
Whispering Canyon Cafe

I wish I could squeeze them both in there somehow, but we don't want to do any sit down lunches. I think having the kids sit down for one long meal a day is enough on vacation. Are there others in my list that you would get rid of so we could do both Kona and Boma? I just can't decide :confused3

I LOVE food so this really shouldn't be stressing me out . . .

If you are talking breakfast Boma hands down...for dinner I am not fond of either but I give the edge to Kona...we did not like the flavors at dinner at Boma

I should have been more specific . . . I'm talking dinner!

I was not at all impressed with Kona, neither the food or the service, but I have only been once. With two kids I might do ohana instead. if you could get to breakfast at Boma, Animal Kingdom Lodge is amazing. They may also like either Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex Cafe. I don't want to throw another idea at you, but I had a very bad experience on my last trip in December at Wispering Canyon, biggest dissappointment of the trip. I had heard about the fun service and that the food was good, and we didn't get either. Some of my favorite restaurants are quick service like Wolfgang Puck Express.

My last trip I wanted to see some of the resorts so I booked alot of my sit downs there. I was not impressed with the food at Boma's. We loved Ohana's!

if your family is picky eaters, or at least not into "adventurous" foods I would avoid Boma for dinner. And very crowded and very noisy (and we were there during a slow time.)

We really enjoyed Kona for dinner. With kids, Ohana' might be more fun, though.

Both are good for breakfast & Dinner. I don't see you going wrong with either.

I loved both!!! but I'm a rebel my vote is for Boma!! mmmm

I like both - But BOMA hands down!

Boma was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. It was in 2007 and I still think about it!

I'm voting for Kona here. Do you want a buffet or do you want someone to bring you your food? You're on vacation remember. ;)

I haven't been to Narcoossee's, but if you left it out you could fit in Boma AND Coral Reef. ;)

I think I can agree with most that have posted that Boma has a fantastic breakfast ( might want to think about doing breakfast there and then going to the AK). I looked at your other ADRS and would think about knocking off Narcoosees...been there twice and it wasnt all that great. I think your other choices are much better!!

Love Boma! I would swap WC for Kona. I have never enjoyed the food at WCC. It's fun for the kids and nice to visit WL, but not a favorite of mine for dinner.

I say Boma, but I've never done Kona for dinner... Boma is a buffet and one of the best resturants on property, although some folks are not fond of the African twist, I would say it's a "don't miss" if you have never been there!
Of your other choices:
Le Cellier - Great choice, love the pretzel breadsticks
O'hana - One of our faves for breakfast and dinner, try for a window seat
Narcoossee's - Never been, only hear good reviews but not sure best place with kids, kind of a fancy place
Cape May Clambake - never been, no draw for us:confused3
Chef Mickey's - Great one with the kids!!!
Whispering Canyon Cafe - One of our biggest disapointments both times we went, idk we our servers just weren't that into the whole act, even after our DD was throwing stuff at her because of what was going on at the table next to us she just kinda laughed

I'd ditch Narcoossee's and do both Boma and Kona imho good luck:thumbsup2

Definetly Kona! The Mahi Mahi and the Chocolate Banana creme brulee are to die for!
