Kona ~Coconut Cream Kiki Tart

I saw where the Macadamia nut tort is off the menu and now Coconut Cream Kiki Tart is on there. Has anyone had this? I was really looking forward to the other but I love coconut cream.

I would guess so...but we got a good laugh out of it...Kiki is what our nephew calls DH! I said, look you're a dessert now!

It sounds yummy but then again I'll pretty much eat anything with coconut. However, I'm disappointed they took the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Torte off. I could think of a few other desserts that they could've replaced instead. Granted I never got a chance to try the Macadamia Nut Torte.

Hopefully someone will try it soon and tell us if it's good.

Oh I hope it is not supposed to be Kiwi...I don't really care for those. I was hoping it was just some word they put in to give it a fancy name.

Yes it stinks that it appears to be gone from the menu. That is what I always get for dessert there. I guess I will try the new one in Sept.

MickeyNicki is there now, posting a live thread over on the Dining Review board. She posted a photo of the dessert menu at Kona, and it actually is "kiki", not "kiwi".

Good I don't know what a Kiki is but it sounds much better to me than a Kiwi

I beleive it's a term for or a kind of grass hula skirt for dancing.
