I will be having breakfast at the KC, I have never eatenn there before. If you have eaten there before for breakfast what did you get and would you recommend me getting it and why?
TIA:santa:

i have had the tonga toast, but although i did like it, it was extremely sweet! now when we go i usually have the pancakes and my husband has the breakfast w/2 eggs substituting grits for the breakfast potatoes. if you are traveling w/others a suggestion would be--get the tonga toast to share around the table. we have done this several times and it works well.:yay:

Tonga Toast (without syrup). Delicously sweet alone-add the syrup and it makes it toooo sweet.
Pineapple Macadamian nut pancakes.
Fresh fruit is excellent here as well.
REAL Kona coffee. :lovestruc

Tonga Toast is a must have for me every trip. My son always get the Big Kahuna.

The Tonga Toast is sweet, but it is just awesome.

I agree completely. We love Tonga Toast but go very light on the syrup. We always have it on our get away day and too much syrup might lead to issues with airport security.:rotfl2:

I love the Kahuna platter but I special order it with just pancakes (no french toast) and have them put the butter/pineapple sauce on the side, all sausage (not bacon or ham)..the best scrambled eggs ever and I love the potatoes!

Dh always gets the tonga toast...the fruit platter with banana bread is incredible too!

Got to get a pressed pot of coffee, it is da bomb!

Love, love, LOVE the pineapple macadamian nut pancakes and the pressed coffee!!!

MY son and I split Tonga Toast and whatever else he orders between us both -

My husband loves to order the Big Kahuna while I order the fruit plate. If our son is with us he will generally order the Tonga Toast. Be sure to come hungry!:thumbsup2

My husband loves the Big Kahuna breakfast and I get the pineapple macadamia pancakes, then we split the Tonga toast. Even splitting it, we still have some left. The Tonga toast is wonderful and I always feel like I have to have it, but it is just too darn sweet to eat more than a few bites. No way, could I eat it by itself.

Tonga Toast w/ strawberry syrup...heaven on a plate! Nothing is too sweet for me, but if you're not into sugar that much, it may be overload for you, lol.

The Big Kahuna has a little of everything, except for the Tonga Toast. It has so much food on the platter that DD & I share it.

I'd love to try the Tonga Toast one of these days, but I hear it's almost sickening sweet.
