Kona Cafe - excellent lunch on Jan 30

We were doing the monorail hotel tour and decided to try Kona Cafe at the Poly, had heard good things on dis forums. Had no ADR but it wan't crowded and we got a table right away. The menu had a nice variety and everything looked good. My aunt ordered the Kona salad with chicken. It was a beautiful and tasty salad. I had the angus cheeseburger, and I have to say that it is my new favorite burger at Disney, because they ask how you want it cooked and they made it perfectly medium! Huge burger,with fresh lettuce and tomato, fries were hot and crispy. All of the desserts are on display and beautifully plated. We got strawberry cheesecake and it was very good. Put Kona on your ADR list - worth it and the poly is a great place to relax away from parks for a little while.

I love Kona Cafe! We ate there twice on our trip in January, once for dinner and once for breakfast. We had excellent service and food for both meals. I am definitely planning on eating there again.

Thank you so much for your review. My DH and I will be eating at Kona on our trip in early May for the first time. Was having second thoughts but not anymore. Glad you enjoyed it.
