Does anyone know how a breakfast works if you are on the Dining Plan? I know it is a TS credit, but is it really worth using the credit for that or would you suggest paying out of pocket and using the TS credit somewhere else?

I'm just wondering because it seems like you get more for your credit if you use it for a lunch/dinner.

TIA! :thumbsup2

Exactly so, because with breakfast there is no dessert.

In 2010 the dining plan allows a second beverage (the brochure says "juice" but in effect you can get any non-alcoholic beverage) in lieu of the dessert. In 2011 they have eliminated that language in the brochure, so it appears breakfast in 2011 will include only one beverage.

Separate side dishes are also not included. Many places serve breakfast in platter form though, including things like eggs plus toast or potatoes plus bacon or sausage in the entree.

If you're on deluxe dining, there's also no appetizer entitlement for breakfast.
