We like to eat breakfast before going out but like to be at the park 1/2 hour before opening. I couldn't get PS at Kona any day of our stay before 7:30. What are our (4 people) chances of getting seated at 7 if we walk in?

Also, I asked a room selecttion question at the end of the Polynesian Thread (before I realized I'd need to start a new one here) and I would appreciate any answers.

Thanks loads.

I hope the Polynesian is as good as so many of you think it is. Be there in 9 days.

Kona opens at 7:30 so you already have the earliest time. Enjoy it. Service is usually very fast though. We have often had a PS for 8 and made it to the MK before opening.

For a room request, Tikiman often recommends Tokelau. Large rooms, central location, big longhouse so you have a good chance of getting that request. All rooms have either a balcony or lanai.

I hope you enjoy the Polynesian. We love it! :cool1: :cool1:

I have never made PS for Kona in the morning and gotten in every time.

Aloha

Aloha, Steve.

We did not make a PS for our last Polynesian breakfast this trip. We walked up at about 9:00 and were told 30-40 minutes. We waited until my DH joined us, the wait time had not changed and so we then just picked up stuff for our son and daughter at the coffee counter. It was a Sunday though and I've long thought Sunday was busier at Kona. But the dining packages are probably making an impact as well as many restaurants seemed busier than usual and it was May.....a typically slow time.
