Would we be able to share a breakfast platter here? We aren’t huge breakfast eaters so, adding maybe some fruit, this would be plenty for DD and I. It’s not a buffet or AYCE so I’m thinking yes?

We've been twice, and the Tonga (stuffed French) toast and macadamia nut pancake meals are quite large, imho. I'd recommend reviewing the menu to confirm, but if you're not super hungry or super breakfast eaters, sharing a meal and adding fruit should be fine. Hope you have a great trip and enjoy Kona!

We are not crazy about Kona. At WL for Whispering Canyon Cafe there is an a la carte or several platters to choose from. I would recommend that instead.

The Tonga Toast at Kona used to quite good but now it's wretched--a solid brick of tasteless bread that no amount of syrup can help...

Never thought of that (as she runs to check menu!)

You can. Everything is a la carte there. My fave is actually the loco moco.
