Kohl's Cash Question....

The other day I had a 15% off coupon and a $10 card good for anything from Kohls. I noticed that they used the $10 off card first and than the 15% off coupon. Do they always do that? Or can you have them use the percent off coupon first??

I want to go today. I have a 30% off coupon and $20 Kohl's cash. If they take the 30% off first, I'll end up paying less that if they take the Kohl's cash off first. Does this make sense? (I'll pay $20 if they do the 30% off first, $26 if they do the 30% off last).

Do they always do the percent off last, anyone know??

No matter which order they scan, you will always end up with the $ off first, then the % off removed. I wish it were the other way around as well, but Kohls is not that generous.

What I do is do separate transactions. If I have $10 kohls cas or coupon I buy something close to $10 and pay with that, and pay for everything else in a separate transaction with the 30% off .

You do realize that by doing things that way, you are not saving any more.

Consider this...$100 total purchase, $30 Kohl's cash applied leaving $70. 30% from $70 is $21 so total spent is $49.

Now...$100 total but you split it out and take $30 of merchandise and pay for it with $30 Kohl's cash, no discount. Leaves you with $70 of merchandise to pay for, no Kohl's cash but 30% off. Take off $21 and you have paid $49.

I prefer to do split into 2 transactions so if something has to be returned it doesn't mess up the kohls cash.
