Kodak CX4200 Digicam question

Hello All,

I honestly don't know where to post this question so if this is the wrong place and/or not allowed to be posted, my apology and moderators, please delete this thread.

That said,

I'm thinking of buying Kodak CX4200 Digicam for my 5 year-old.
It's only 2MP, fixed focus, and comes with 16Mb internal memory.

Do any of you DISers have had any experience with this product (or any low-end Kodak digicam in general)?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have the DX4530, and love it, great pictures. I don't have any experience w/ the lower kodak mp, but Biz Rate has some reviews of the camera you asked about. As far as the software/easyshare thing, it is great and very user friendly.

Thanks for the link. Not too great of a camera, I guess. I have to rethink my purchase. But then again, it's only US$80.

we just bought this for our 7 year old and she absolutely loves it and it is great for her needs. She loves the video feature. DEFINITELY buy rechargable batteries for this one though. In 2 weeks, she went through 4 sets of batteries before we said enough

Yep, I bought a dozen of 2100mAh AA batteries with a quick charger for about US$40 on eBay. They are great!

Yoiu will be able to print 3x5 and they will turn out great. You may be able to print 4x6. That should be good enough for your child.
