Ko Olina Resort

I had heard that Disney had built a new resort in Hawaii. i just wanted to learn more about it.

It isn't built yet. I read on allearsnet that they just broke ground, it will be a DVC resort.

they announced they will be breaking ground... it is on a deep water port on the windward side of the island that consists mostly of all inclusive style resorts and is 45 to an hour from waikiki

Is this new or are they taking over the Marriott Ko Olina resort? That's not going to be confusing or anything because it sounds like they are going to be in the same area too. Hmmmmmm. The current Ko Olina is part of Marriott's vacation club thing and has a golf course, several lagoons for swimming. It's pretty nice.
