Know What your costs are

Yesterday I added the dining plan to our upcoming DVC summer vacation. Multiple families are involved in going this time. I had figured what the cost would be based on using two separate credit cards for payment. When the CM calculated the costs for both cards the first time, she didn’t come up with the same amounts that I had for each. I asked her to redo her calculations and sure enough, she had missed a child for both families.

Moral to my story; KNOW what your cost is before you call and talk to Disney. Don’t rely on the CM’s to make the correct calculations for you. If I hadn’t known what the correct costs were, two children would have left off with disasterous results at check-in.

Your advice is good and I agree, it is important to know before calling. They make mistakes just like we do.
