My daughter has talked me into going to Knotts Scary Farm. I have never wanted to go on my own, I don't like to be scared. Is there any areas in the park for wussies like me? She is a teenager so I will not let her go alone to the park, but she is old enough to do her own thing at the park with her friends.

There are a few areas where you can sit and relax and not be bothered or scared, but very few. The eating areas seem to be somewhat free of scarers, and some of the inside shows. I think elvira show and the magician show. But to get to them you need to walk though scare zones. There was also a saloon in calico square that had music playing and free popcorn. You could see the side of the stage where they have the hanging. It was nice and warm inside there as well. And it was scare free. Look on line and check out the map. They also have the show times. You could find what shows you want to check out and what zones to avoid. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all of the info, I will go on line and do just that. I did not even know there were shows! I wondered what I was going to do by myself while I was there.:goodvibes

Just and update here. I went and had a blast. Was very nervous at first but got used to being scared. I learned very quickly not to run from the spookies! One very tall cowboy spook chased me into a shop, then scared the heck out of me when I thought the coast was clear! :scared1: I made it through 11 of the 13 mazes. I am so proud of myself! I saw 2 of the shows, the hypnotist and the magician, the were both pretty funny. :lmao: :lmao: My daughter and her friends had a blast, and so did I. Thanks again Stacerita for the helpful info.!:cutie:

Glad you had a great time. Wow, 11 mazes??? Those can be pretty scary. Glad you enjoyed the shows. The one that I always make it a point to see is the hanging and sometimes elvira. Sounds like you guys all had a good time. Now just get yourself ready for next year, you will be a pro then.
