knotts berry water park

hi does anybody know when the water park opens for the season? I will be coming may 8th and just wondering if it will be open, Also our flight arrives in the morning and we don't want to waste anytime since we are only coming for 5 nights, what would you recommend doing for the first day, since we want to go to disney the day after we arrive, any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Last year Soak City did not open until May 27, 2006. Here is a http://www.knotts.com/soakcity/oc/guestinfo.shtml so that you can check for opening dates when they update the information for 2007.
