Hello!

My wife and two daughters (ages 10 and 6) will be in Anaheim/San Diego from 11/17-11/25. We are staying in Anaheim until 11/22 and changing hotels for the rest of it. The only day we don't have booked full of activities is Thanksgiving, so here's my question...

Should we get up and spend the day at Knott's Berry Farm before heading to San Diego, or should we get up and head to the new hotel first and spend the day at Lego Land. My girls are young at heart princesses, but also love roller coasters and big thrill rides.

Which park between those two would you suggest? Do either of them have an acceptable "Thanksgiving Dinner" of any sort?

Thanks so much!

I Would suggest Legoland over Knott's, since Knott's has really gone down hill over the last few years. (dirty, with surley employees)> Legoland is nice, but really aimed at kids under 10. Have you considered Universal Studios? On Thanksgiving day, traffic should not be too bad, and it is about as far to Legoland from Disney as it is from Disney to Universal.

We are doing Universal on Wednesday the 21st. I am a huge fan of US/IOA in Orlando so I'm pumped up about it. So one vote for LegoLand!

I love LegoLand...and have been coercing people to go there by offering coupons for free child admission with a paid adult. So far, I have mailed out 132 coupons for a saving of over $5000!!
I picked up several stacks of coupons when they were offered at local DQ's.
LegoLand is very geared to kids, but quite enjoyable for adults..with kids. I think adults alone would be done in about 3 hurs!!
So, if you pick LegoLand....PM me. I do ask for a SASE as I'd have spent a lot in postage with the numbers I have sent out.
:cheer2: Amy

We LOVE Legoland! We like Knotts too, but the last time we were there was 6 years ago, and from what I read on Dis it has really gone downhill...
We go to California every other year..and this is the year to go. My boys are ages 10 and 12, and for the past 2 trips I have thought, "this is the last year they will want Legoland", but I am wrong! They still want to go!!!! It is geared toward younger kids, but obviously kids of all ages still like it! Have FUN!

Can you send me a pm letting me know what I need to do to get 4 coupons? We have 4 adults and 4 kids over 2 coming so I'm assuming I need 4 coupons. I tried sending you a pm but it wouldn't allow me to as I am new and do not have enough posts.

I had also posted a message on another thread that is a bit older.

We'll be going for Thanksgiving so I'd like to send you my SASE ASAP in order to get them on time.

Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Is there an expiration date for the free child coupons? We are going next June. Thank you!

Bad news, the coupons I have expire the last day of this year. I still have plenty...but can't help those of you with trips next year. I will keep my eyes open and if I get the chance to repeat what I was able to do this year, I will let everyone know!!

So, unless you r trip is in 2007..I am of no help. Bummer!!!

Is it not true that most of LegoLand's best rides involve water? Is it warm enough next week for a bunch of water rides? I leaned towards LegoLand big time before my wife pointed this out. Any thoughts?

The water themed area is Pirate's shores....don't want to do much there on a cool day. However, there are many areas without water. Fun Town, Castle Hill, Imagination Zone, miniland, etc. The water play area and the water battle ride soaks you to the skin...but can stay pretty dry on all the rest!!
I know, I know, I love LL....but my DD7 and I stay plenty busy there on days we don't get wet!!! A few of the water based rides you barely get wet..like the log ride and the wave runner ride. Two, you don't get wet at all, Skipper school and the Coast Cruise!!
Also, I just mailed your coupons this AM!!!
And, you neve know with our weather. It isn't supposed to get much warmer thab 72 in the next 10 days.... Oh, and whimpy southern CA people wear jackets under 70!!! Me included now. I moved here from Ohio and it took only one year to become a weather whimp!!!

Just wondering if I could get one of those children get in free coupons. I am in Canada, so only if you are willing to mail to me up here! I can't pm you because I don't have enough posts, but I would really love to get my hands on one of those.
Thanks!!
