Knee Scooter at Disneyland

A friend is going this weekend and he uses a knee scooter. I'm trying to help him determine if his group should get maxpass and if FP, in general, can even work with his scooter. I'm only familiar with DAS (without mobility issues).

We already understand certain basics like requesting return times at the attractions. Can these guests request at kiosks to save the walk?? Is this still a paper they give or is it digital now and linked with his group? Do they need to be present with their tickets or linked in the app when he requests the return time?

How does FP work with mobility issues? Is there any benefit to getting a FP for Splash or are they just gonna make him get a return time/wait once he gets there? Or would they direct his group to the immediate boarding accessibility line since he's already had his "wait" with the FP?

Is there a list of which FP rides will fit a knee scooter in the FP line (but no stairs?)?

Guests with Faspass go through the Fastpass line.

Mobility (and stamina) issues typically are not addressed with a DAS.

There is a thread pinned above specific to the DL DAS. You only need to read the first post.

MaxPass came long after my one visit. Can't help you there.

I'm not asking about a DAS. I'm asking about a guest with mobility issues. I already read the post and I am personally very familiar with DAS. I know guests with FP go through the FP line, but I'm asking about guests with mobility issues, particularly a knee scooter, and how they are handled at rides with FP (if the scooter fits or not, stairs, etc).

Disneyland has many fewer accessible queues. You might try cross-posting on the Disneyland Forum as well. Most of those posters don’t venture here but could help with your question.

Enjoy your vacation!

I am a Disney local with an Annual pass and go with my Mom in a wheelchair a lot. I have MaxPass and it works great. We get the fastpass via phone and then when it is time to ride, we go to the handicap entrance (Space Mountain, Indy, Big Thunder) and tell them I have a fastpass and they scan it and we enter the handicap entrance. No return time needed if you have a fastpass. If the queue can handle a wheelchair (or knee scooter), you will just scan in for a fastpass and enter the queue as normal. Same for standby lines that are mainstreamed - just enter the line as normal. You can also get return times for some rides, but you will have to go to the ride to obtain them. And the person using the device has to go as well or give the knee scooter to someone else to take over to the queue to ask for the return time (I have taken my Mom's cane and our passes to get a return time). It is all done digitally and put on the pass.

Thank you! This helps a lot!!
