You lucked out . I went today too as DD had some spending money and we found very few items at $4.99. Most was still the clearance price. And what was marked was mostly boyus stuff. The lady had just put it on the shelf, and I asked if more was coming out and she said that was it.

I was thinking that there were no boy things at my store. I did luck out, now I need to buy my son some things..

I needed to return a few toys I bought and then found cheaper at another Kmart, so I scanned a few toys while I was there. I didn't see anything that was $4.99.

I was also reminded once again why I don't like Kmart (as if the smell and dank lighting wasn't enough). The computer prorated the amount of the coupon and deducted that from my return, even though I had well over $20 left on the receipt that I was not returning. I suppose that's their right, but I didn't think it was fair considering if I had never bought those items I was returning I would have still had the full value of the coupon.

Oh well, it was a good sale and I'm very happy with what I got. I just won't be going back into Kmart anytime soon!

so i decided to try another kmart near my house today. they still had up the old signs for 50% off clearance. yipee so i got 19 toys for 120 including tax.
including:
disney enchanted princess dance mat
dora doll
dora twins
disney pictionary
incredible hulk game
assorted diego toys
assorted little einstein toys

so i told my mom about my finds and she asked me to take her there. as i got back there they were taking down the signs for 50 off and putting up some 4.99 signs for limited stuff. when i bought my huge cart full and had to have the manager override half the stuff it must have tipped them off that they forgot to change their sale. oh well. i did really great on my first trip so thank you OP

I went to every K-Mart in the area on Friday and Sat night. I did amazingly well. I did find more boy things than I did girls. That is fine - my son and my nephew are both done for Christmas...atleast for toys. I was able to snag the Disney Story Creator and the Fisher-Price Digital Art Studio ($8) for my daughters. I was very excited about my finds! I spent about $220 and I got so much stuff!

I headed over to Kmart yesterday and my store still had the items at the regular clearance prices - no $4.99. I didn't buy anything because none of the items were exciting me. It was mostly the left-overs I'm guessing and still too expensive (IMO)! I would have loved many of the items that some of you snagged- but alas, I was too late!
I was also at Target and they were still at 30% off. Very slim selection. Again, it looked like leftovers (on the end caps), lots of broken/ opened boxes, etc. I did see some items marked down in the aisles, but didn't think they were discounted enough yet. I'm waiting for the end of the month to return.

Thanks for this thread! I got a Harry Potter scene it game for $1.75! But, the best deal was three MP3 players (called my first MP3 or something like that ) for $10.00 each! There is nothing that screams kid about the players other than the bright colors. Ours are aqua and hot pink. Each is 1 gigabyte and holds about 500 songs. Oh, and it has a screen and will play downloaded videos and show photos as well.

Did you get the HP Scene game, etc. this week? Just wondering if they are still offering deep discounts on toys. My Kmart's idea of clearance prices are much more than I would be willing to pay for something on sale.

I went out, but didn't see any other deals. Clearanced toys were the prices marked, with no additional discounts.
