Kitty O'Sheas Irish bar in LBV

Anyone been in here before? I didn't realise there was a pub so close to our hotel (and an Irish one at that! ).

Does anyone know just how close it actually is to the Comfort Inn? The hotel is on 8442 Palm Parkway, the pub is 8470. Im just wondering if it is within walking distance i.e a couple of hundred yards at most, for my dad.

Also, it's part of the Kids Eat Free card that I bought! A double bonus

I thought they were right beside each other so I put it into yahoo maps, distance according to yahoo is 0.0 miles so I think you're pretty safe with the walking part!!!

Am thinking of getting one of the Kids Eat Free Cards myself, sounds like a good deal!

Not been in it but it's on my list for July - saw somebody saying food was good there so will give it a go! We prefer offsite dining.

we went to it when we stayed at comfort inn in 1999, cant remember what it was called back then ( i dont recall 2 irish bars), but it is a few minutes walk past a lake, just up from the Comfort inn, it was pretty quiet when we were in there, but pleasant enough.

Thanks Pooster. Looks like it is quite a lively place now, they have nightly entertainment. Im glad my dad has somewhere near the hotel he can go when me and junior are out and about.

Hi Paul, when we went there were signs near the lake ( and in the grounds of the comfort inn) warning of the Aligators, this really freaked DW out and you would not believe how quickly a DW can walk with the threat of Aligators looming in the undergrowth!!

Seriously?! I didn't know this!

The hotel grounds are safe though, right? I was actually looking forward to having a look around them and finding a nice spot to play football with junior. Im not so sure that's a good idea now

We never saw any at Xmas and we were right next to the little lake/pond. I have seen them in lake next to Best Western lakeside on 192 West. but you are in Florida they can be anywhere. Seen more snakes than Gators, Also had a racoon at Travelodge on 192 East looking for food in bins every night.

No we never saw one, but there may be a slim possibility, hence the signs.

Hi never saw any gators although a family of cranes have moved in, for your dad he has hooters as well right next to him as well as Kittys

Definitely don't go golfing then Paul............. we had a gator virtually right beside us 2 years ago at the Funai classic !!

Pooster, no worries. I knew the place wouldn't be infested with them I just didn't know they would have warning signs about them. As wayne said though, it is Florida so I suppose we will see this alot.

Im looking forward to trying the mini-golf on I-Drive that you can feed gators on though

I think my brother will freak though - we have been kidding him on that he is getting fed to them
