Does anyone know what exactly is supplied in the BWV kitchenette? Are there napkins, sponges/soap, dishes, can opener, etc?

Starting to pack and was wondering what to bring:confused3 ...Thanks!

I'm sure someone has a better list than I do, but they have paper towels (no napkins), paper plates and plastic wear. A can openner and cork screw. Soap/dish soap and sponges and dish towel. The one thing I always bring when staying at a studio is a small paring knife. It's a pain to try to cut fruit or cheese with a plastic knife. I pack it in my checked bags in it's original container. There is a list inside the kitchen area with things that are available to you by calling mousekeeping if you need other things, like a blender. Standard stuff include the frig/microwave/coffee pot/toaster.

You will have: 1 coffee maker (4 cup), A toaster, mini microwave and mini fride, 4 paper plates, some plastic knives and forks, mabey some spoons, 4 glass coffee cups, 4 plastic glasses regular size and 2 juice cup size, 4 paper bowls, paper towels, (no napkins) we usually grab extras from the bakery or a food stand, a dish sponge, small bottle of dish soap and 2 garbage cans one for recycling and the other for everything else. DH and I pack extra plastic wear for its easier than calling housekeeping. If you are coffee drikers request a bigger pot and bring your own or buy coffee, as the packaged stuff offered is (to us atleast) the weakest stuff you'll ever taste. If you need extras you can call house keeping or just go over to Goodies Groceries and pick up what you need, it's very close by and cheaper than the Screen door down on the Board Walk. Enjoy your trip and have a wonderful Disney Day:dance3:

Thanks for the detailed list! Somehow I don't think 4 paper plates and 4 paper bowls are going to last 3 people for 10 days. :)

How far away is the grocery store you mentioned? We don't have a car...is it walking distance? We are planning on needing a few small things (like milk/egs/bread).

Sorry for the newbie questions, but I've never stayed DVC before & last time I was at Disney was in 2000!

Ask all the questions you wish, that's why we Dis nuts Join these boards!!:yay:

Goodings Grocery is about 3 miles from Boardwalk. You can take a cab which will run you about 8 dollars. If you only need a few things the Screen Door on the Boardwalk should have all the things you need. The stuff costs a little more about $1 to $3 per item. But there is a Hess Gas Station just down the walk from the Boardwalk Convention Center, 5 min walk at best, so things like pop, Juice drinks, lunch meat, milk, even personal items will be much cheaper.

ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!!!!!:dance3:

This is great info that I didn't see anywhere else...thanks! We do only need a few things (milk, bread, & eggs). We are huge milk drinkers and will easily go through 2 or 3 gallons while we're there, so I'll check out the Hess Gas Station.

Only one week to go.....

You are very welcome. 1 week huh... boy wish ours was that close. 90 days and counting BWV 11-29-07 to 12-06-07//CRB 12-06-07 to 12-11-07:dance3: Enjoy you trip!!!!!:yay:

Just a side note: Dh and I will by water bottles at the Hess and then refill and freeze them for the next day in the parks, saves a lot of $, not having to buy pop or water in the parks. If you have the insulated water bottle holders the water will stay cold and frozen most of the day. you can buy insulated bottle holders at the Screen Door or in the parks.

On day 4 of your stay (for stays of 8 nights or more, you'll get full cleaning on this day), the housekeepers will replenish your stock of paper supplies and anything else that you have used up. And again on Day 8.
