Just wanted to let everyone know about a great deal I learned about over on the budget board. The Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer (reg. $349) is on sale at Lowe's for $150 (any color). Apparently, it was a misprint in their ad, but they are honoring it. They have to be special ordered, but shipping is free to your local store. They also have the Kitchenaid blenders and toasters at great prices. Anyway, I know this is a very popular registry item, so if anyone who is recently married wanted one but didn't receive it, now is your chance to get it at an amazing price! DF and I actually went ahead and ordered one for ourselves even though our wedding is still a few months away. It was the top thing on our registry (We're foodies!), and I have wanted one since I was a little girl. I wasn't about to run the risk of not getting one and couldn't see letting someone else pay $200 more for the same exact thing. Hope someone else is able to make their culinary dreams come true. :rotfl: Happy bargain hunting!

can you provide a link to which one it is? I don't see any that are regularly 349 (online at least)....i'm just wondering, is it 5 qt. 4 1/2 qt....which? And do you have to order it from the store or can you do it online?

It's the 5-quart, and I believe it was pulled from online shortly after the ad went out. I was unable to find it there also. If you are trying to see what they look like and/or specs., you can search Kitchenaid Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer on Amazon. As far as I know, you must go into the store to order it. One person on the budget board thread was able to do it over the phone, but I wouldn't expect to be able to do that. (Couldn't hurt to try, though.)

cool, i just phoned my MIL. She wanted to get them for me and my SIL for christmas this year, so this would be a perfect oppertunity....i don't get a lowe's ad here, so I hope it would be still going on tomorrow so she can get ones for us :) lol

I didn't see a date on the ad itself, but they have posted on the budget board that it will run through July 27th. Enjoy your mixer!

Hi I am new to these boards, but I had to let you know I just picked-up my new Tangerine Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer from Lowes for $150, I am so excited:cool1: .

Congratulations! I actually wanted the Tangerine color also, but my DF preferred Majestic Yellow. Fortunately for him, I was so excited to be getting one at that price that I let him win (even though I was the one paying for it). I figure if I hate it, he'll just have to buy me another one. :rotfl:

Wow, thanks for the tip!

I've passed on the info to my folks in the states, hopefully they'll hook me up with some sweet KitchenAid action!

Do u have to have the ad in hand? Or just tell them about it? I Love to bake and getting my first appt in a month:goodvibes and the mixer is a must have for me:thumbsup2

I would take the ad for insurance, but I know they have to honor the price even if you don't have the ad with you.:cool1:

I'm planning on trying the Bed Bath & Beyond route today. I'm going to get the ad and see if they will price match it. I have a 20% off coupon and there is also a $30 rebate. If it doesn't work I'll go back to Lowes and get it. :thumbsup2

They are mentioning (on the BB) that the letters on the receipt are not working for the rebate form... so i dont know

I just got back from Bed Bath and Beyond to see if they would meet Lowes price of $150 on the Kitchenaid. The person I showed the Lowes ad to told me I couldn't use the 20% coupon if it was a special order (which my Tangerine color would be), when she looked the price up on the internet she said it was $299, but that was BBB's price. I don't know if they would have met Lowes price, I didn't persue it with her after she told me I wouldn't have been able to use the coupon because it was a special order. I already had bought one at Lowes so I was happy, I still got a bargain.:cool1:

BBB has a $30 rebate of their own on the KitchenAid Artisan or the Custom Metallic Stand Mixers.

thanks for posting this! i went out with my mom today and got my new mixer for 150$ and we got a 30$ rebate form which apparently started yesterday! i couldn't believe it!!

i got the metallic chrome one and they had it in stock, and they met the price in the ad (after the lady in customer service looked like she was poed that i was asking for the price match to the ad, the price in the store was 299$ still).

I'm so excited for everyone who's gotten a mixer! :yay: Don't forget that they have the blenders and toasters on sale also. It's like the foodie version of "Extreme Makeover" -- Kitchen Appliance Edition. ;) If anyone ever finds the food processor on sale, please let me know. The only bad thing about getting such a great deal on the mixer is that there's no way I'll be able to justify spending the same amount of the FP, lol.

My MIL actually got DH and I a white KitchenAid food processor when we got married. I would much rather have the black/metallic chrome/stainless steel though. Oh well-- for now ill live with white- haha!

I just got back from Bed Bath and Beyond and after an hour of three salespeople helping me and checking on the phone with Lowes to see if the ad was for real, they gave me the $150 price, discounted the 20% coupon and gave me the rebate and free shipping to my home. So my Kitchenaid is only costing me $90 after the rebate. Now once I take delivery of my Tangerine Kitchenaid I will return the other one I bought at Lowes for $150 without being able to use their rebate because my model number was not one of the eligible numbers. I feel estactic I got a much better deal than I would have ever imagined.:cool1:  :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:
