I have always wanted to order the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream. But I have never been with enough people to get it. Even I can't eat that much ice cream in one sitting. And I can eat a lot of ice cream. Anyone want to try and eat the whole thing with me at Mousefest?

I have been leery about eating this with even my blood relatives. Have you ever thought about all those cooties on everyone's spoon? Can they bring extra regular bowls to dish it out into?

They bring you little bowls to put individual servings in. Don't worry I would never share with someone. (Even with someone I might play kissie face with.)

Whew - makes sense. But, when they show it on TV, everyone just digs into it in the main bowl and that's always made me a little queasy. Now I see that was all dramatic license.

Maybe you have to ask for them but I know I have seen people using the little bowl method. For TV I might be willing to share the first couple of bites since it wouldn't touch anybody elses cooties but after that I would be totally skeeved.

We do this every trip and have always been broguth bowls, though they often don't get used at least my the younger two kids, they like it straight from the bowl. I don't mind their germs, so I let them go for it. Usually DH, DD14 and I use the bowls just for manners sake.
Enjoy the KS, it is one of our FAVORITE Disney traditions...

OK, I'll ask - just what exactly is the kitchen sink? I was already thinking about going to Beaches and Cream, so maybe I can help you out (with my own bowl and spoon, of course).

"The Famous" Kitchen Sink - Scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee, and mint chocolate chip served with all the toppings in the house and a whole can of whipped cream. - $21.99

And they serve it in a bowl that looks like a kitchen sink. It is huge.

The kitchen sink is super yummy until the very end - then it's just soupy from all the toppings running together and the ice cream melting. The first dozed bites or so are heavenly!

4 (Big guy, little wife, 2 young daughters) of us attempted it for our dinner while there last August. We made sure we didn't eat anything after 1pm so we were good and hungry when we went to Beaches and Cream. Well, eventhough we were hungry, we couldn't finish it all.

However, I think 4 really hungry adults could finish it.
