I know this is a strange request, but does anyone have a picture of the famous 'Kitchen Sink' dessert from Beaches and Cream? I've been trying to describe it to my father, but since I haven't seen it myself, it's been difficult. My parents are taking us (my husband, 2 kids, and I) in September and I want to eat at Beaches and Cream mainly to see the dessert.

Thanks,
Christine

Here you go! I hope that you get it, and enjoy! :)

When we ate at Beaches & Cream a week ago, 2 families had this. One was a family of 5 with 3 kids all under the age of 7 and they barely put a dent in it, the second family did pretty good. Patrick and I wanted to have it, but Jim (knowing I am on WW, vetoed it, thank goodness!) :)

Some day....

Wow, great picture! I am going to have to check it out on the Travel Channel.

Wow, what great pictures and info. I knew someone here would be able to help me. We are definitely going to get this when we go. My dad is now asking how much ice cream there is. I think he's feeling like this is a challange for us to finish it. It could become a tradition each time we go. I think we'll have more of a chance once my children are older (3 and 7mo now).

Thanks again,
Christine

I think the cost is just under $23.00. Worth every penny for the lookon everyones faces!

does anyone know what all is in one of these our sons will love it

Beaches and Cream Says:

Kitchen Sink - scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, coffee and mint chocolate chip, smothered in every topping we have

Hope that this helps........:smooth:

.............don't forget the WHOLE CAN of cream they squirt on the top!

don't mean to upset people, but does anyone have a calorie count on that thing? :teeth:

Beaches and Cream was my girls' very favorite meal of the whole week! Why? The kitchen sink, of course! I'd promised them ice cream before we went, but they had no idea what was coming. I quietly ordered the gigantic sundae. My oldest daughter, who was seated facing the ice cream preparation area, saw the waitress bringing it, but she didn't know it was coming to our table! The look on her face was priceless. Strangers were taking pictures of it, and they sold several others immediately after ours came out.

We thought it was great (except for the mint chocolate chip ice cream). We ate probably half of it, still, it was a good deal compared to 7.99 x 4 individual sundaes. It's something that you wouldn't do twice in one vacation, but it was lots of fun.

After we finished, we had to make a bathroom break to wash sticky fingers and faces, and both of my girls kept saying, "That was the best dessert we ever had. Thank you, mom." They talked about it all week long. Several times they commented, "That was okay, but the kitchen sink was better." They've made me promise to make a homemade kitchen sink for their next sleepover party. Making it is no problem, but I have no idea what I'll serve it in!

I like to believe (alothough incorrectly) Samantha Brown's statement from her Great hotels show. "...And since it is Disney it is Calorie-Free..."

Of course I always forget the rest of the quote from her "NOT!!"

My DW and myself plan on trying this with her sister and her sister's BF in Jan hwne there!

the KITCHEN SINK!!!

Headed to Disney in 16 days & we cannot wait to order us up a kitchen sink!

THANKS so much for posting the great pictures here!!

:Pinkbounc

Who counts calories while on vacation?? Not me, that's for sure!

Thanks a lot Suite Disney! After seeing those pictures, I really think we need to get one. Does anyone know if there are any peanuts (or peanut products) involved in there anywhere? DS is allergic but, that sure does look fun.

Our plans fell through when we went. We had wanted to surprise the kids by ordering one. Unfortunately, you can only order the kitchen sink if you are seated inside, not on the tables just outside Beaches N Cream. Since there is a relatively small seating area and they don't take PSs, we had to settle for sundaes instead. I'd still like to do it someday.....

Hmmm ......ut oh...:::starts adding another restraunt to the list:::: You know we were supposed to be staying in the campground to help us save money on food as well as lodging!!! You guys have all helped to shoot that to @#$@!

I have been on these boards for a year now trying to plan our trip. I have heard a lot about the kitchen sink but had decided being all mixed up and whatnot it kinda sounded gross. I figured since my family didn't know anything about it we could just skip it and no one would be the wiser and they wouldn't really know they missed anything.

Well along comes Laura (***********) with her pictures and tosses that whole philosophy out the window!!!

We're going to be in Disney this August for my son's 11th birthday. How can I possibly settle for a lousy store bought cake now Laura??!! I want you to know its all your fault if we end up at Beaches N' Cream for this sundae?!
