"Kitchen Sink" available at DLR?

We've done this a couple times. The Kitchen Sink here at DL varies a bit from the one in WDW - and the changes actually appeal to more folks that think the one at B&C is a bit too exotic.

The major difference is that they only offer 3 flavors of ice cream - the traditional Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. The toppings are also not as varied or extensive - just the usual strawberry, fudge, pineapple, caramel, chocolate chip cookies, brownie, and one other thing that I can't remember. Oh - and LOTS of whipped cream.

I know several people that don't like the WDW version, because of the use of peanut butter and pie and the like. This is simpler and certainly just as tasty!

My husband & teenage boys had the kitchen sink but said there was no peanut butter or pie in it. Brownies, cookies, candy bar (maybe that the peanuts) and in the previous pic it looks like angel food cake(white) They would have noticed in taste considering they love the Reeses peanut butter cup ice cream we buy every now and then.

uh-oh - I remember it too!

I also remember a large one-person sundae on Main Street called the Mammoth Matterhorn Mountain. (at least I think it was a one-person sundae.)

No! Bowls are cheating! Also, no spoons! You all have to dig in with bare hands and just get down n dirty!


Sorry. I'm a little silly today. I'm pretty sure they'll let you have bowls. I am a little sad that I didn't make DH buy me one of these while we were there.

We did the kitchen sink in June of last year. We decided since we were on vacation we would make this a delicious dinner for the six of us. The service was wonderful and we did receive bowls and spoons with the desert. From what I can remember you can custom order it by telling them what you do not want on it so we changed the strawberry ice cream to 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla. There were candy bars, brownies, cookies, whip cream, hot fudge, sprinkles and cherries from what we can recall. We lost most of our photos from last year when we did not realize the memory chip was not working. I do remember wanting to do have this at lunch time but I could only order it from the dinner menu. For those wanting to have this you might want to confirm it is available when you make your dining ressies.

Me too! I use to go to the Farrell's in Sacramento (grew up in Davis) and I thought it was called "The Zoo". They even had little plastic animals in it.

I had that for my 14th birthday, then went to the roller rink to skate with my friends.

I guess this is one of those things you grow out of, because just looking at those pictures makes me NOT want to eat ice cream! Yuck. It is all melted and gross--and just too much. Give me one little scoop of mint chip, and and I am fine.
