kitchen aid ice cream maker

Does anyone have the ice cream accessory for their mixer? I wanted one but wanted to know if anyone had it and how they like it.

I just saw this in a magazine yesterday and was wondering if it was worth it.

I have made ice cream once and it was good. The only drawback is that you have to leave the ice cream maker bowl in the freezer overnight before you make ice cream so you definitely have to plan ahead. I am now just storing mine in the freezer. Also when you make up the liquid you have to cool that over night in the fridge. I think it was overnight - might have been just some hours but it was somehting like 4 or 6 hours. Other than that it worked well and you don't have to mess with ice and rock salt etc.
