Kissimmee/Orlando KOA

Have any of you stayed at this campground? It looks nice from the limited photos I've found . It looks like they even have "porch swings" on some of the patios) but I would love to hear from someone that has stayed here.

We had to stay here instead of the Fort because I guess everyone is going down the same week in December (4th - 7th).

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

This is a very bad KOA. Try to get a ressie at Tropical Palms on 192E. Here's their website:

It's right next door to Old Town & a lot closer to I-4. Much nicer than the KOA, trust me on that!

In fact, because Gatordad is a trailer seperatist, I will be staying there next weekend!

The KOA is smushed behind a shopping center and is not a fun place, just a stop over place. We have stayed there twice, but just overnight each time.

Thanks for the link Debbie. I cancelled the KOA and now have a Reservation and Tropical Palms RV Resort!

And guess what else... It was $100 cheaper

Just to give you aheads up on Old Town. They usually have a Motorcycle show on Thursday nights, a Rice Burner show on Friday nights and a Antique/Classic car show on Saturday night with entertainment etc... You can walk there from the campground. They have some amusement rides, beer, bungee jump and shoots, beer, drag car racing ride, beer, mini golf, beer, and a bunch of other stuff. Oh and beer.

You are also only about 3 miles from Disney at this campground and thee is a Publix just about across the street.
