I have three properties reserved and am completely stuck on which to choose.

Can anyone familiar with the Kissimmee area tell me which or these pinned locations is more desirable? I’m mostly concerned with commute time and traffics to get to the Magic Kingdom. But also interested in a decent area and to a lesser extent decent nearby grocery and food options

The first one is in a complex called Paradise Cay Circle and the second on is it the Oakwater Resort. I also have an option in Champion’s gate, but I understand the traffic on I-4 from there may be a huge issue. Please let me know if you would choose Champion’s Gate instead.

When I was choosing a airbnb I went to zillow like I was purchasing the house. Pick one in the same neighborhood it will give you how much time to local places like the grocery store etc.

I wish I could help you Kissimmee is a hard area because some of it us not so great.

Just based on rudimentary knowledge of the area the area to the east of 4 seems to get a little sketchier overall and the quality of the motels go down. The Florida Project motel is east of 4.

West and South of 4 seems like newer developments and newer stores and restaurants. That's just my take.

We stayed at Champions Gate a couple of year ago and the traffic was horrendous to get to the parks, some days taking up to 40 minutes. We would not stay in that area again.

Champions Gate is beautiful but traffic is a nightmare. I personally don't like the East side of I 4 on 192 either. Traffic can be heavy as well. I like the West side. You can shoot right up Sherberth and you're by Animal Kingdom. I would go with the one on Oakwater Dr. Everything you need is around there and not as congested

As far as location, between the three choices I would definitely go with the Oakwater Resort condo. N. Lake Wilson road will be busy but once you are on 192 going west to Sherberth Rd for AK or east to World Dr it should be an easy trip.

To get a feeling on what traffic to expect look up the area on Google Maps and turn traffic on around park opening and closing times.

Our snowbird home is in the Champions Gate area and I can attest to how bad the traffic in that area has become. It doesn't bother us too much as we usually shift our travel times to avoid it.
