"Kiss Goodnight" by the MK Castle ???

I read in an old post about how at the end of the night at MK, Cindy's castle does a "kiss goodnight"??? Does anyone know what this refers to??? I'm guessing its some kind of quick lighting gimmick at the end of the evening. Is it something that is still done today??? If so, when is it done and is it worth it to hang around at closing time to see??

Isn`t the "goodnight kiss" when the castle is lit up in several different colors ?? If so, it`s right at closing and also at the end of Evening EMH.

I have heard people talk about the 'good night" kiss at MK. I have looked for it a couple of times and I think it is just an "Urban Legend" and that it doesn't really exits. If it does, hopefully someone can explain when this phenomenon happens.

Well the post right above you gives the dates and times for the Goodnight Kiss along with a video of it. So yes, it does exist.

The post above that states that it happens right before closing- we've only seen it once since we usually are in the shops for a bit and leave before we're officially kicked out.

You know, I understand why you're sceptical. I'd been to WDW over 20 times, never heard the "voice" of the Kiss Goodnight. In the past, sometimes I've hung around for up to an hour after the park closes, hoping to hear it. Then last week I heard it for the first time. Maybe because I'd waited so long, but it really made me teary eyed (didn't take much after "Wishes")

My DDs & I ate at the Castle on Dec 23 last year. We had 9pm reservations so we could see the fireworks from inside of the castle. We had a wonderful meal & then started out of the castle after closing. There were just a few stragglers like us who had been in the castle. We were there for the Kiss Goodnight with the beautiful Christmas colored lights & the Christmas decorations. As we walked down Main Street, they had the snow machines on full blast. I had the video camera on as my DDs & all the other children were chasing the "snowflakes" with the music in the background. My DDs actually watched our DVD last night & dreamed of playing in the snowflakes.

Atleast I am not the only one who got teary eyed at Wishes!! I am so lokking forward to getting a 'kiss goodnight' We missed this on our October trip, if indeed it went on during the times we were there. Im sure I will be teary eyed during that as well as even the video made me teary eyed. Course I'll be 6 months pregnant and surely that will add to my tears!
